The formula for a Hentai Dating Sim.
I've played many of such games some time back and realised that they all work around the same formula. Let me list some of them ar...
Story
Often is about some loser guy who is going to spend his final years in college/school and he never had a girlfriend before. For some reason he finally woke up last minute and decided that by hook or by crook he's gonna get a girl during his last semester in school. Don't know is God secretly helping him or what, he suddenly keep meeting (attractive) girls for no apparrent reasons.
The Male Lead (You)
Typical loser + despo having his last term/semester in school. Usually lives alone in a small apartment and takes on part-time jobs.
The Friend
Friend of the male lead. Usually the one who provides comic relief or vital information about girls to the male lead. In some variations, the friend could also be the male lead's rival, but that's pretty rare.
The Rival
The male lead's competitor. Usually portrayed as a rich, handsome guy with a shitty attitude who's out to snatch every girl that the male lead fancies.
Now for the interesting part...
THE TYPE OF GIRLS
Childhood Friend
As her name suggests, she's good friends with the male lead long before puberty. Always the one to wake the male lead up just to get him to school. In most cases, they're classmates as well. Oh the coincidence sial!
Personality: 2 types. Can be a typical gentle girl but usually depicted as a girl who loves to quarrel with the male lead.
Studious & shy girl
A nerdy girl. Would prefer to bury herself in books than to enjoy herself. Usually pretty quiet and doesn't talk alot. In most scenarios, she's a hot babe when she's not wearing her glasses.
Sporty & cheerful girl
Usually an active member of some sports club in school or maybe even the chairperson of that particular club. Talks alot, has a friendly personality and is pretty well-loved by alot of people. Quite a tomboy type of girl though.
Cold/anti social girl
Strange bitch who's really very anti social. Don't really have any friends in school and rarely speaks at all. Should be one of the hardest to woo if not the hardest.
Sickly & weak girl
Gets sick very easily, usually at home more than going to school. Frail and weak fella, I think she's those type that faints suddenly in class for no reason.
The "mature" girl
Usually one of the male lead's female teachers. Usually some sexy looking lady in her mid-late twenties. To cater to those players who prefer older babes.
The "lolita" girl
To cater those pedophiles. Underage looking girl which the game always claims to be of legal age (16-18). She could be the male lead's classmate or even his friend's sister. Usually pretty childish and always acting cute.
The bad girl
Usually some juvenile delinquent. Always creating problems in school. Think about our own local ah lians and you'll get the idea.
Rich & spoilt girl
Proud and spoilt by her parents. She comes from a very well to do family but sadly her attitude is like shit (sorta like the male lead's rival's female counterpart). Usually portrayed as some rude and proud princess type of character.
Of course don't forget to include at least 2 sets of sex scenes for each of the girls. That's the main reason why people are playing the game isn't it? More to come on the next installment! I'll be drafting out a demo hentai game! Wow!

Oh man. I know got girls watch soccer lar, but then mostly all watch is just to see those yandao angmoh players. (Most of the time I think they don't even give a rat's ass to the match.) NS and Death.
I had a conversation with a friend today about how soon it is before all our other friends enter National Service and how sad we are feeling right now. Speaking of NS, I don't really feel sad or anything when my secondary school friends entered. I think more or less I know the real reason for feeling sad now. I think it's because I'm entering NS soon, that's why I'm saddened as well. I guess it's because I'm having my paper tomorrow, I'm always a little philosopical (any how spell) during these moments. I told my friend that the feeling is the same as those old folks around us...
It's like when you grow old that time... all your friends die one by one, you'll also be sad knowing that sooner or later it'll be your turn.
Now, isn't it the same for NS?
